This is an hourglass shaped dulcimer contoured in the Huntington, WV tradition. Our most popular model and known for well balanced treble and bass tones, this 4-string June Apple model is crafted with a bookmatched cherry top with round sound holes, bookmatched cherry back, and bookmatched cherry steam bent and seasoned sides. A decorative wooden strip is inlayed on the center seam of the bookmatched back. It has gold-plated Grover "Sta-Tite" metal tuners with brass gears and 14:1 gear ratio for microfine tuning.
