Our 3-Octave Baritone bowed psaltery features a wooden "lace" soundhole. This instrument can be upgraded with a chip carved soundhole for an extra $100 (see Hammered Dulcimers/Custom Rosettes for soundhole styles). This psaltery spans three octaves chromatically (an extra octave is addedbelow the Alto octaves) from G to G, with the C strings marked with a brass dot for orientation when playing. This psaltery extends one octave lower than the tuning chart displayed.
