How It Works:
Would you like to try your hand at playing a mountain or hammered dulcimer before investing the full price of an instrument? Or perhaps you don't have the cash for an instrument purchase, but you've already signed up for classes. Now you can attend your classes and start learning to play right away with a minimum financial outlay. June Apple Dulcimers offers a convenient rental option to prospective mountain and hammered dulcimer players in the continental United States.
Here's how it works:
1. You pay the minimum first two months rental fee up front. We accept cash, check, Visa or MasterCard.
2. We send you your rental package and you get started playing!
3. At the end of the minimum two-month rental period, you pay your monthly rental fee if you wish to continue renting.
4. At any time up to and including six months rental, you may apply your rental fees toward the purchase of a June Apple mountain or hammered dulcimer.
It's so easy! And unlike most rental agreements, you will actually earn something with your rental fees. If you decide that you want to purchase an instrument during the first six months, ALL of your rental fees can be applied toward that purchase!
After six months, you will need to choose from the following options:
1. Return the rental dulcimer and purchase a June Apple mountain or hammered dulcimer with your rental credit,
2. Return the rental dulcimer and accessories with no purchase, or
3. Continue renting at your monthly fee. Beyond six months, subsequent rental fees cannot be applied toward the purchase of an instrument.
If you choose to purchase a June Apple dulcimer that needs to be crafted, you may continue renting while it is being built and all additional rental fees will be applied toward your instrument order. Please note that the rental instruments are not for sale.
NOTE: If the rental package is not picked up at our shop, the shipping costs will be added to the first rental payment. Since shipping costs vary widely, these will be determined on an individual case basis.
