CELLOMER
An original June Apple Dulcimers creation, our Cellomer is constructed much like a cello with a cello scrolled headstock and an overlapping top and back with a smooth rounded edge. It features handcarved "F" holes in the top and a laminated fretboard. It has a robust sound that eminates from its large body.
The Cellomer is made of solid maple (Ambrosia, flame, quilted or Birds eye) except the top, which is Western red cedar. The wood grains of the top, sides and back are bookmatched and the back features a decorative inlay strip. The maple fretboard is laminated with rosewood and is disconnected from the bottom of the instrument, enabling the top to vibrate more freely. This instrument is also available in a long neck version (at no extra cost), enabling it to be played like a guitar.
