ABOUT JUNE APPLE DULCIMERS
June Apple Dulcimers is a family-owned company run by the Gotzmer family. We are located in Southern Maryland about 15 miles from Washington, D.C. We welcome vistors to our shop but visitation is by appointment only. If you would like to come by, please call 301-283-6937.
June Apple Dulcimers has been handcrafting quality instruments since 1970. We are always working to achieve the optimal instrument and have created many unique designs. We participate in five or six festivals a year where we offer live demonstrations and carving, as well as an opportunity to meet with the staff and debut our most recent products not yet available online. We also ship our instruments worldwide.
We are pleased to have a number of dedicated people helping to make June Apple Dulcimers and its instruments. They include Master Craftsman Carl Gotzmer, Master Luthier Dylan Magargle, Luthier Kent Hibben, Luthier Jessica Smallwood, Master Carver Paul Kilgore, who carves our headstocks, and our Inlay Wizard Lee Henson.
